Started work on a new issue of Caravan, a book put out by my brother and myself four or five years ago. We spent the whole afternoon tossing around ideas and concepts and mantras until we finally seemed happy with what we had, and then we celebrated by killing zombies on my Wii. It's funny how often we need to get together to reaffirm what we already know about our art. Just talking it out makes a world of difference in getting my creative juices flowing. Now that he moved back home from Montreal I feel like we can finally start collaborating like we should be.
Comics aside, I've been drawing trees now. It's not much but its the start of something at least.

there's something about knowing something in the back of your mind but then having someone tell you it.
it always makes me feel like i'm on the right page, i'm not crazy... completely. :D
A person definitely has to savour those "I'm not crazy" moments--especially when a large portion of their life is dedicated to scribbling on paper like a crazy person.
